Habitat for humanity affordable homeownership program

Habitat homeowners complete an objective and thorough application process

Habitat homeowners work alongside volunteers and construction staff on the construction of houses, including their own. They attend homeownership and financial literacy classes to prepare them for success and save towards closing costs.

Homeowners purchase their home with a zero-interest mortgage provided by hfh of gvc.

Habitat homeowners pay property taxes and purchase homeowner insurance.
-
Since 1986, hfh of gvc has served the local community, built more than 205 homes and has impacted the lives of more than 205 families, including more than 600 children.
