HFH of GVC has partnered with you for more than 40 years to build homes, community, and hope. Your donation directly supports our Affordable Homeownership Program and results in local families building strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter.

The families who join our program invest hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” toward their own homes and the homes of others. Habitat homeowners complete a series of Homeowner Education and Financial Literacy classes. They purchase their home with a zero-interest mortgage provided by Habitat for Humanity of GVC. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to fund the construction of more Habitat homes.Your donation will open doors.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, HFH of GVC is a faithful steward of donated funds in furtherance of its mission.

To honor our relationship to Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) we tithe 10% of our local donations to the work of spreading the HFHI mission overseas. Your donation supports Habitat locally and globally. Please advise us if you prefer that 100% of your donation remains in Volusia County.
